This policy describes cookies and similar technologies on BeClevr, operated by BeCleva ApS. It covers the website and web app. The native app uses a matching consent choice stored on the device.
A cookie is a small text file in the browser. Local storage and session storage can store the same kind of choice without being called a cookie. Whether we may use the technology depends on its purpose. Strictly necessary storage can be used without consent. Statistics and marketing need a yes that you can withdraw.
These stay on so the service can work. They do not need consent.
The consent tool’s “preferences” category is not used for anything else. Language and theme are already necessary.
Statistics load only if you turn them on. We use them to see errors and whether pages load too slowly. There is no session replay and no ad profile.
We do not show videos on the front page or in the app, and we do not set marketing cookies. There is no YouTube and no advertising.
On the web you give consent in the banner: Accept all, Reject all, or Customize. Usercentrics (Cookiebot) stores the answer and scans which cookies the site sets. Withdrawal applies going forward. What already happened does not become unlawful because you later say no.
In the phone app the banner is the same, but the choice is stored locally on the device.
These parties may read or set something in the browser, depending on your choice. The full list of every supplier — including those that never set a cookie — is on the subprocessors page.
Email support@becleva.com if you want to know more about a specific cookie choice.
